Daxen's Black Eye!

About 2 Sundays ago before church Cannen & Daxen were playing baseball. Cannen had a real wooden bat and I had just told him to go put it away and get a softer one, but of coarse he had to swing one last time and Dax just happened to be right there. He got hit so hard that it knocked him over! Poor kid....it was instantly a black eye and instantly swelled up!! About 2 hours later he said to me "mommy there's a big rock in my eye". I guess he thought since he couldn't open his eye that there was something in it. He walked around for the next 2 days looking up because his eye wouldn't completely open.....Good thing he's a pretty tough kid!





We were just thankful it didn't bust it open and had to get stitches!
