Yes, Dax....I think you do!

Dax just cracks me up! About every time after he eats he asks me "Mom, do I have a dirty face"? And he ALWAYS seems to have some kind of food or drink on his face. He started this after Bosten was born because he wanted to make sure he didn't have a dirty face before he kissed him. And believe me, he gives Bosten lots of kisses!
Even though I don't have a picture to go along with this story I have to write it down before I forget....
The other day while I was in the shower Dax was downstairs watching The Incredibles. (which was unusual because he NEVER goes downstairs or upstairs without me. But this day he wanted to stay down and watch it. Anyways, after I got out I came downstairs to check on him and he told me "mom, that lady came and I opened the door and your picture is in there on the floor". I was like what the heck? Sure enough I looked by the front door and there was my package. I lovingly told him that we do NOT open the door ever without mommy or daddy. He seemed to get it. Well, the next day after I got done blowdrying my hair I went downstairs and saw that there was another package by the front door. I asked Dax if he had opended the door and he said yes. He had opened it this time for the UPS guy. Did he sign for my package too??? This time I got so mad because again I had no idea. I was telling him that a bad guy could just snatch him and take him away. He didn't seem to get it and was not scared. He told me that if there was a bad guy he would just go get his 22 gun and shoot him. Isn't that nice? Oh and by the way he doesn't have a 22 gun....obviously- he's 3 years old!! That kid just does not seem to be scared of stranger danger. I don't know how to handle this- we are going to have to get a lock that's higher up!

This makes me laugh #1 because it's FUNNY and #2 becuase I am glad other kids do this besides my own and #3 because of the gun comment. Hilarious.
I love little Dax!
